Heng’s Spicy Prawn Fried Rice

Heng's Spicy Prawn Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup onion
  • 1 tbs garlic
  • 200g prawns
  • ¼ cup Heng’s Crispy Prawn Chili
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
  • 2 tbs oyster sauce
  • 2 tbs light soy sauce
  • ½ cup carrots
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1tsp sesame oil

Cooking Method:

  1. Season the prawns with salt, white pepper, and Chinese cooking wine, set it aside.
  2. Stir fry the prawns in oil over medium heat, add garlic and stir fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the eggs and stir fry until almost set. Set aside prawns.
  4. Toss in onions, carrots, and frozen peas. Stir fry until vegetables are cooked through.
  5. Add the rice and sauce and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into a serving platter and sprinkle with spring onions.
